BLS Attorneys and Partner is a fast growing Tanzanian Law firm that has been in existence since 2013 it is manned with competent personnel specialized in providing clients with groundbreaking solutions to their legal issues. The firm’s range of clients includes companies, financial institutions, individuals, entrepreneurs and Non-governmental organizations.

PROFESSIONAL AND BUSINESS REGISTRATION

BLS Attorneys and Partner comprises of two partners and 2 associates who are fully qualified Advocates of the High Court of Tanzania and Courts subordinate to it with valid practicing licenses issued by the Judiciary of Tanzania. The firms also comprises of four Legal counsels employed by the firm as Legal officers, a secretary and trainees. The firm has other supporting staffs who work with the firm on a specific matter basis (a certified accountant and a certified HR)

The Firm is also registered by BRELA as a valid legal firm with registration No. 434096 and also by Tanzania Revenue Authority as a Law Firm with Tax Payers Identification Number 136-096-338 and also Value Added Tax 40035982M (VAT Registered) and with business licence No. 4298491

1. BARNABAS PASCAL NYALUSI, LLB-Mzumbe University, LLM (Mercantile Law) Stellenbosch University- South Africa and Ph.D Candidate University of Dar Es Salaam)

 

Mr. Nyalusi is the founder and Managing Partners at BLS Attorneys and Partner and is one of the best litigation advocates in Tanzania. He has more than a decade of expertise in practice including litigation, employment and labour relations, Intellectual property, International commercial arbitration and domestic arbitration. He regularly represents corporations in transactions including property security.

Mr. Nyalusi is also an expert on drafting all phases of commercial transaction documents including loan facility agreements, mortgages, debentures, assignments, guarantees and indemnities and security sharing agreements. He also handles corporate recovery.

Mr. Nyalusi has grown an interest in Mediation and Arbitration ever since his Masters studies where he undertook International commercial arbitration and undertook trainings in ADR (Mediation and arbitration inclusive) both domestic and international (Including those conducted by TiArb And TIAC)

Mr.Nyalusi also handles criminal proceedings

Mr. Nyalusi is a member of Tanganyika Law Society (TLS), East African Law Society , Tanzania institute of Arbitrators TIARB and  Tanzania International Arbitration Centre (TIAC)

Mr. Nyalusi was admitted to the bar in 2011 (The Tanganyika Law Society). He also has been a lecturer in Law since 2007 (Tumaini University and now Ruaha Catholic University, he is also a visiting lecturer at the Law school of Tanzania)

 

ADVOCATE RITHA BENIEL MASAMU LLB MZUMBE UNIVERSITY- MOROGORO POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN LEGAL PRACTICE (LAW SCHOOL OF TANZANIA) is a partner at the firm and one of the best litigation advocates in Tanzania. Her expertise includes family Law, litigation, Advocacy skills, employment and labour relations, Intellectual property, International commercial arbitration and domestic arbitration. She also handles corporate recovery.

She is a Partner who heads the Human resources and Finance department, legal aid and public awareness departments in corroboration with associate partners and legal interns.
